Some years ago I started creating solo guitar arrangements of surf music tunes. There was something kind of meditative about writing out the arrangements and then learning them. I discovered that surf music actually translates really well to solo fingerstyle guitar.

The surf music genre is vast. There are many different groups from all over the world who have played this music. The songs often have very distinctive melodies and clear bass lines. They’re fun to listen to, and very enjoyable to play. Eventually I started a Patreon page to play and discuss these pieces with others.

For $5/month you can become a subscriber to my Patreon page. Every Friday you will receive a link to a video in which I play a new fingerstyle surf guitar piece. In each video I also teach you how to play the piece. And there’s a downloadable .pdf with music notation and tablature to help you learn the piece as well.

Feel free to visit my Patreon page to sign up or to learn more.
